Due to St. Patty’s Day my WWC post is a little bit late this week. I celebrated St. Patty’s at Matt & Kasandra’s. They had a small low key gathering at their place where everyone chatted and had a few beers. It was good to catch up with some friends that I haven’t seen in a while.
Anyway this week’s words were Diamond and One. Unfortunately not the best collection of pics IMO.
Kasandra’s Beautiful Wedding Diamond Ring

#1 idiot with the biggest pack

The words for next week are:
Black and Natural World
This might be one of those easy ones again.

The BC South Coast avalanche condition is looking extremely scary right now. Extreme for both Thurs & Fri in the alpine, extreme in the treeline for Thurs and high in the treeline for Fri. The condition may improve a bit over the weekend but that will greatly depend on the weather. Even if it did improve, it’s still looking quite scary. Not too sure what I’m doing yet. There are some talks about going for a day trip to Hanging Lake on Sun. I haven’t been there myself but I’ve heard that the slopes are steep with some micro terrain traps. Last weekend bunch VOC’ers went skiing there and set off a few mini avalanches (nobody was caught). I guess I’ll have to evaluate the condition on Fri when the new forecast is released. Either way, one must be extremely careful in the backcountry the next few days. Be careful out there everyone!

I’m still cracking up over “One Sketchy Dude”. He looks like Ben Stiller! Lol. Well done this week.
I love the “One Lone Skier” photo Tawcan
And wow… your guys’ packs are HUUUUUUGE! I doubt I could carry all that.
Those packs are not that big. The biggest was only 70L.
