At work my boss is trying to come up with a capital budget for next year so my co-workers and I have been looking at the price for some telephone call boxes we’d like to get…
Co-worker: “Check out your email, sent you a quote on the Antrisu call box.”
Me: “Wow it’s only $60K? That’s dirt cheap!”
Co-worker: “Yeah I think that was a promotional deal though.”
Me: “That’s what I thought too, didn’t the Agilent box we have cost $125K or something ridiculous?”
Looking back, it’s kinda funny/weird that I think a $60K equipment is considered “cheap.”
It still sounds like a lot to me
Budget stuff is just a word I don’t wanna think about right now… Things are weird and tough all over I guess.
Hopefully, it will be better soon though.
